Availability infrastructure for tourism

Put live permit availability on your website

The checker you used on Inca Trail Company is powered by Machu Picchu API. Travel agencies, tour operators and online platforms can use the same availability infrastructure through an API or ready-made widget.

20+ companies already use Machu Picchu API, according to the provider’s published customer information. Visit Machu Picchu API

Answer the availability question while a traveler is still deciding—without maintaining the complete collection and interface stack internally.

From a repeated support question to a useful sales tool

Travelers often ask whether permits are available before they discuss an itinerary, hotel or payment. A current calendar gives your team and customers a shared starting point, while your own product and booking process remain under your control.

Try the same live availability experience

This demo uses the Inca Trail Company interface and a secure same-origin connection. Your implementation can use a provider widget or build a custom interface from the API response.

Availability is informational and may change during booking. A customer’s place is secured only through the applicable reservation and confirmation process.

Clear responsibilities

Your customer relationship remains yours

The availability layer supports a booking decision; it does not replace your itinerary, service terms or customer confirmation. Your company controls the product, booking link and traveler communication.

  • Availability should always show an update context.
  • Available does not mean reserved.
  • Route and date must match the product being sold.
  • Private server credentials stay outside browser code.
